Hello and welcome!
I'm Hannah Snow, an artist based in Brighton, UK.

My paintings and illustrations are usually filled with curious creatures hidden in unexpected places. I am heavily inspired by animals, thrift store treasures, analogue technology, and the secret lives of ordinary objects.

Before focusing on traditional art, I worked as a prop maker. My favourite jobs involved painting miniature props and models, and each one needed to be highly detailed.

Nowadays my artworks often begin as a collection of messy doodles, characters, and notes gathered from my sketchbook or journal. I often experiment with ideas in ink before bringing them to life in watercolour.

I love the idea that there might be entire worlds living just out of sight... I want my art to feel like tiny worlds in which you can imagine the characters living their silly little lives.
