🇺🇸 USA Customers

As of August 2025, customs has made some changes to imports that may affect orders from my shop to the USA:

ORIGINAL PAINTINGS ARE DUTY-FREE

• Original paintings are duty-free according to the import rules (under HTS code 9701 for hand painted fine art).
  This means US customers won’t pay customs fees on any original artworks from my shop!

PRINTS & STICKERS MAY BE CHARGED CUSTOM FEES

• Prints and stickers may now be treated as “commercial goods” which could be subject to import fees or handling charges at the US border. This may be a $80–$200 customs charge on prints and stickers until March 2026.

  
  

🇪🇺 EU Customers

ORIGINAL PAINTINGS ARE EXEMPT FROM GPSR

• Paintings, drawings, prints, and zines produced entirely by the artist are classed as “works of art” and exempt from eu product safety requirements. This means ordering my paintings and prints will continue to move smoothly across EU borders. Exempt under Annex IX of Council Directive 2006/112/EC.

• Stickers are not exempt and therefore sadly I cannot sell stickers to EU customers.

🌍 PATREON MAIL

• All the art mail I send out via Patreon are sent as Patreon rewards, and do not involve any extra postage fees.
